Marion Cotillard looks STUNNING. Everything is beautiful- she looks like an Oscar winner :) I hate Katherine Heigl's makeup and hair. It's too costumey.
None of them did it for me either. Tilda Swenson/Swinson (too lazy to look up the spelling of her name) looked really cool and different. Julie Christie looks beautiful too.
I really hated Jennifer Hudson's dress. It was so unflattering for someone with a chest - she had uniboob. Also rolls in the back.. not a good look. I feel like her stylist was mad at her.
I think quite of few of them look beautiful, but nobody is wearing anything particularly fantastic IMO. Black, white, red, navy, and silver? Seemed terribly boring for what is supposedly the dressiest event of the year ... .
Blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I love Heidi Klum's dress, she always looks amazing! But WT Hell is with her boobs here? it's like every year she pisses off her stylists the week of the Oscars.

I love, love, loved Marion Cotillard's dress. Gorgeous and so unique. I think I have a girl-crush on her now. She was awesome in "La Vie En Rose" too.
Keri Russell looked beautiful, but would someone please tell her to stand up straight??? She's got a beautiful figure, but her posture is awful and totally ruins the dress. And every time I saw her, that's how she was.
Also, not to be mean, but seriously, Jennifer Hudson's dress was awful on her. Her arms should probably be covered up and she needs a different neckline. She's a classic example of someone with great curves who ends up looking much chunkier because of poor wardrobe choices.
Totally agree on Katherine Heigl's hair and makeup being overdone. Even DH commented.
Miley Cyrus - I thought she looked adorable and age-appropriate. The dress was just right for a teenager.
I think my pick was Keri Russel for making a drab beige/gray look daring next to all the black and red.
I'm so happy to hear other people here also loved Marion Cotillard's Gaultier dress. I know it's getting bagged on in the media, and yeah, it was a little too mermaidy, but it was incredible up-close and dammit, she was up for best actress so, yeah, bee-yotches?
Laura Linney looked great, if you like trains. I coveted Diane Lane's dress but I question whether it was dressy enough.
I yawned at Jennifer Garner, Hilary Swank, Jessica Alba, and a lot of women whose looks I usually like, such as Penelope Cruz, Portia de Rossi, and Anne Hathaway.
I wish Cameron Diaz would wear something other than white or flesh colors for a change.
I want to hold down Renee Zellweger and force-feed her.
Julie Christie: you're gorgeous, but that dress was awful.
Did anyone else think the slit of Diablo Cody's dress ripped somewhere between the red carpet and the award she won?
