I totally knew it was Aaron. I guess that means Claire doesn't make it off the island? Sad. She didn't seem terribly broken up about Charlie even though she just found out he was dead the day before, in Lost time, right? Weird. Maybe island mentality makes it easier to accept death. Unless you're Sayid.
Does Claire die? That's the only reason I could think that Kate would have her baby. And why wouldn't future Jack go see Aaron? Weird!!!!!
It was a good show though, I really enjoyed it last night.
I guess it's possible Kate just named the baby after Aaron, because why wouldn't Jack want to see the baby? Isn't he Aaron's uncle after all? Surely he figures that out by then...
I kept thinking she got Aaron too, except at the end I could have sworn she said Eric, not Aaron. But I think I'm wrong on that.
I also kept thinking maybe she really was pregnant and was just testing Sawyer to see how he'd react.
At the end of the show I was wondering how she paid for that big ol' house, but then it occurred to me today that I wonder if she actually did get the $3.2 million that she had negotiated with Miles. Interesting!

I think the Oceanic 6 all got some gigantor settlement from Oceanic - none of them we've seen in the flash forwards are hurting for money. I think Sayid even mentioned something about his settlement in the episode before that, while he was playing golf.
I was totally creeped out by Kate raising Aaron as her own. Creeeepy.

I agree they all have money because of the Oceanic settlement. And in last season's finale, Jack mentioned that he was using his unlimited flight pass or something like that.
I wonder if Jack doesn't want to see Aaron because he knows Aaron is his nephew, but it's too painful?? I didn't see that twist coming, but I wasn't surprised about Ben being the person Sayid was working for. Looks like Sayid sold his soul somehow.
ETA: My latest theory is that the island is in a different dimension and the coordinates that one must follow to get in or out lead to the rip in the dimensional fabric. Also explains the slight time difference- time might move at a different pace in a different dimension. But I reject time travel theories. I hate them and refuse to believe they are in a different time. I'll accept a different dimension, though.
The only reason I could think Jack wouldn't want to see Aaron is because Claire became ill or injured and it's his fault she died leaving the baby an orpahan. And it was Claire's dying wish that Kate would raise Aaron. Makes sense to me!
ok, last nights episode. What the hell was that all about?!
I know! Thanks to all heavenly beings for giving me a show full of Desmond though!
I thought it was pretty cool how he went to see the 1996 Penny to get her phone number and then he called her in 2004. So I'm assuming since he got his "anchor", he won't have the flashbacks anymore?

I think that's it -- she is his emotional anchor and will keep him tethered to a certain spot in time. I was so afraid when he got the nosebleed that he was about to die.
As for Jack not wanting to see Aaron, I thought he must feel some sense of guilt or responsibility for why Claire isn't there to raise her son.
