what to request from the Vatican

My priest is going to the Vatican and offered to pick me up anything I wanted.  I have never been and so I don't know what to request.  Anyone been before? I will of course ask for a rosary and crucifix, but aside from that any ideas?

gosh, I want to go to the Vatican so badly! I hear their ATMs are in Latin smile.gif

Anyway, I'd probably ask for a crucifix necklace. I think something you could keep with you all day would be pretty cool.

Latin!? That's awesome. I took it for one year in JH, all I remember is Salve! (hello) and the our father, of course. wink

The rosaries are beautiful; if you have a stone/color preference, let her know. Also, if she is staying in town, she can have them both blessed by the Pope for free.

The Vatican has a gift shop? I went there two years ago with someone who is no longer my friend. She rushed me through the whole thing, I don't even remember the Sistine Chapel! cry

The scented rosary sounds cool though!

I got a ton of rosaries, they were all so pretty and if he can get them blessed by the Pope that would be awesome.  The rose-scented ones are beautiful, but they do lose their scent after a while.
When I was there I bought a book about the art inside the Vatican and also a jigsaw puzzle of the Sistine chapel.
