I ordered four pairs of shoes from them and when I recieved the order confirmation, I realized that the shipping address was wrong (I reversed the numbers on the address, instead of 23, it was 32- stupid on my part, I realize this.) But, I called them right away, but got disconnected every time (6 times in all.) I left a message with someone for customer service to contact me regarding the manner since the customer service line was malfunctioning yesterday and I also e-mailed them. No one responded.
I called again this morning and after being on hold for nearly a half an hour, the person I spoke with told me that there was nothing they could do and the labels were already printed (but the order had not shipped and was still in the facility.) She advised me to call my bank and ask them to deny the charges and once Aerosoles received confirmation of the denial, they would call me and fix it. But that's not possible since it's not an actual charge yet, it's just a pending transaction. I can only dispute a charge that is actually a charge. By the time this is an actual charge, it would be too late since the order is shipping today.
So, I called my post office. Fortunately, I live in a small town with a fairly efficienct and helpful post office (shocking!) and the man there made a note to watch for the package and is letting my postal carrier know.
So, yay for the postal service, but a big boohiss to Aerosoles since they were less than helpful.
