Here's what I got for Xzavier: Big plush car that he can sit in
Plus a plush aligator that does all kinds of things and some bibs and a new lovey for his stocking. And from Mimi (my mom): I'm so excited to see him open them!!!
Wow! Great picks everyone! My son is getting a lot of little things...I've picked up stuff from clearance sales and dollar stores for a few months now. It's harder during the holidays, when I feel like I am not doing enough or just am not enough...but I have to say I feel good this year...I was able to get him a bunch of things I think he'll like. And I made him a new scarf and gloves to go with it. And a homeade "memory" game with pictures of his favorite people.
BQ, I got the car from a local toy store, but it is by K's Kids. If you google K's Kids jumbo go go go car you should find a few websites that carry it. They also have an adorable airplane one.

leah_leanna, you're more of a mom and a great person than I'll EVER be!!!!! You have an amazingly tough job and are doing a wonderful job from what I can tell. Your son is a very lucky little boy!

i think this is the cutest idea! how fun for him, especially if those he loves live far away.
we haven't hardly even started our christmas shopping, but here's what we plan to get: 6 year old: kiddie digital camera, some littlest pet shop toys, maybe an nds game and some other small things. 1 year old: baby einstien movies, since she LOVES them, and one of those toddler kitchen sets, since she's always trying to help me cook/wash dishes.

clothes horse...and anyone else interested...the make my own memory game was so simple! I just had the inspiration to do it and it worked out great. I used shutterfly to print out wallet sized pics of everyone important and then used two of each. I cut out cardboard in the same size as the pics and used a craft glue stick to attach a pic on one side and some sparkly wrapping paper on the other side. then i took them all to a copy place and laminated them. so easy! and i made a box for the game with the same paper!
Ok, here we go..... (I've been bad!) From Mom (Mimi) From Other Grandma
From One Great Aunt and Uncle
From Another Great Aunt and Uncle
From Santa (Mommy and Daddy)
All of these:
I HAD to stop. I have a sister, a brother-in-law, about 10-15 Great Aunts and Uncles that will be buying him gifts. Not to mention..... his first Birthday is in two months!

Fala's getting some bones and treats in his stocking. We also got him a "big dog bed" (ie normal dog bed so he doesnt have to sleep in his crate) but we couldn't wait, so he already got that (and he loves it!!)
Wow, FP! My youngest got the same plush car and the animal train last Xmas and he LOVED them! They were a big hit!
This year, the best gift is for my 3 year old son who is obsessed with all things machine. I got him a Bruder garbage truck, and it's not made in China (unlike 99.9% of all our other toys, hehe). Last year I got him a Correlle "Paul" doll for potty training purposes, he was over it in five minutes.

He likes rope toys and I like squirrels, so I'm trying to find him this at a b&m If all else fails, I'll just pick him up whatever is for sale at the dog boutique in my neighborhood.
I did buy him these, but I couldn't wait until xmas. He really likes these hide a treat type toys, except he's pretty good at mastering them. He's had these for a couple of weeks and he still has to work really hard to get treats out. Finally, I found a toy he's not too smart for:
