I'm hoping others have family members of friends that like western stuff. My parents want to get my 88 yr old grandpa a wool blend/felt cowboy hat. However we're having a hard time finding one in chocolate brown or gray. We also need it to be a size Small or XS since he has a small head. We were even considering getting him a Youth cowboy hat. Their budget is $60+/-. Anyone have any websites I can check?
Cavenders usually has a pretty good selection. I just bought BF a Cinch felt had in Chocolate brown for his Birthday...there is a less expensive version available at Cavenders that might be what you're looking for... www.cavenders.com
This one is somewhat similiar to what i got BF...The shape is really nice and I would definitely recommend it if you're going to buy one online. Felt hats are difficult to buy sight-unseen, you never really know how well they're going to have their shape... http://www.cavenders.com/product.asp?cat=1&dept%5Fid=4505&pf%5Fid=700E8BK4
One other thing, cowboy hats are sized in measurements instead of sm, md, lg... It sounds like your GP would probably need a 6 7/8, or a 7. If you get a size that's a little big you can always use foam around the inside of the band to help it fit better. HTH!

Thanks Jahni, I'll check those out tonight! My dad took him to a local store and the 6 7/8 hats were too big, one that he has is a 6 1/2 and its kinda loose, but he can wear it fine. My dad was thinking a 6 1/4 would be perfect, but I have yet to see one that small unless I look for a Boys hat.
Thanks for the foam suggestion, I think we may end up going that route too.
