Nepal was great!  It was pretty much what I expected, as I have been to that part of the world several times, and it was as fun as every other time I have been in that area.  What made it more fun, of course, was the polo tournament. 

Kathmandu was really crazy, and the pollution made my allergies go crazy, but it was a neat city.  We went to Nagarkot to spend the night there and then watch the sun rise over the Himalayas.  That was the best part of the trip not at the tournament.



Then we flew to Royal Chitwan Park, near where the tournament was held.  The air strip was a grass one and it was near the polo field. 



It was cool to land and then hop on the elephants and practice:



Then we went to go stay at our lodge in Tiger Tops, in the Royal Chitwan National Park.



Everything is powered via solar power and there is no phone or internet service available. 

It took us an hour every day to get to the field.  We had to take Land Rovers to a river,

Cross the river via boat (usually with or right behind the eles)



Then took another Land Rover to the field.

I made some great new friends and got to see some great old friends (and got a job offer in Thailand, but more on that later).

We also went on several safaris and I got to see a lot of awesome scenery and wild animals.

It was great, and I got invited back next year.
