Collette, you are too funny!


Grunge was pretty bad. I look at pictures of myself in oversized men's thrift store sweaters/flannels/jeans and I look like I weighed 40 lbs more than I did. It saddens me that my teen body was wasted on that look. I'll never get those years back!!!

I also recall wearing a big yellow shirt that was knotted in the front and way longer in the back (circa 4th grade). It had a black paint splash pattern on it and I wore it with black stirrup pants. I though I looked hot.

Also, tight rolling jeans: I remember being mortified if the tight roll came undone while I was walking down the hall in jr high. I didn't want anyone to think my already tapered jeans were "bells."
