I just got back from Target and scoping out the EF collection. I thought some of it was weird and nutty, but some of it was pretty nice. I am a huge fan of Erin's runway collections so I've really been looking forward to this one.
The cocoon coat in an M. I felt like an egg that just hatched with its head peeking out. Or maybe a dollop of whipped cream. I *almost* bought it to ebay, but I figured that was not good karma.
Bunny thermals! Loved both, but had to take an XL (!!!!!) in the top. I wanted the top a bit loose and there were no Ls left anyway. Only purchased the shirt as I prefer to wear yoga pants or Juicy pants when lounging.
Blue velvet blazer and bunny-print tee (both size M) that I purchased). I love the fit of both, and was happy to discover the shirt was 98% modal/2% spandex. Also happy that the blazer is cotton velvet...the detailing is cute and it's nice and substantial IRL. The jacket reminds me of the blue velvet Mason blazer that Molly Sims (I think) wore on an old cover of Lucky. (color is more teal IRL)
Navy dress with heart straps (M). It's cute but I didn't buy this because I'd really rather put the money towards a Rachel Pally that isn't rayon.
I tried these on as well but pics were too embarrassing to post. This one was a great design but poor choice of materials and very small in the chest.
This bunny print dress is cuuuuute! But they didn't have my size in store. Also better for a smaller chest.
I looked like Grandpa and not in a cute way in the cardi. Plus it was 100% acrylic.
LoL~ your egg comment is so funny! It's really true how things look different on people huh? I liked the cocoon jacket, ut that blazer did not look well on me at all but looks amazing on you! ITA all the dress are waaay small in the bust (and I am way small in the bust).
oh, how funny, I just posted about this stuff and then I saw your post!! that velvet jacket is WAY cute on you. it looks better on you than the model.
how is that babydoll dress in real life? i'm thinking of getting it but only cause i'm pregnant. i'd have to wait a couple of months to wear it though, i'm still pretty early on.
Lilykind, the blazer looks great on you! I really wanted to get it but it was too big on me. They didn't have the bunny t in my Target.
I also tried on the black skinny pants w/ heart pockets which were really cute, a sheer black blouse with dark blue trim and bow, and these 3 dresses which I bought: The bunny dress. Not surprisingly even things that are really small in the bust on everyone else are too big on me! Luckily it isn't too noticeable.
I'll probably keep the bunny and layer dresses but I'm not sure about the last one. I might order the XS from the website and see if I feel more comfortable in it.
