We are getting ready to buy a highchair for the little man since we'll be starting baby food in a few weeks.  I would like something that is attractive and at least kind of goes with my kitchen.  Here is a pic of my breakfast nook (from Christmas last year):

Any recommendations?  Or ones to avoid?  TIA!

I'm a big fan of the Tripp Trapp.
We use them a lot in the schools because they are adjustable--all the way to adult size. They're super durable too.
They come in different colors--I like the black for your breakfast nook:

And you can get cute little cushions for them:

I highly recommend those.

Tripp Trapps are cool but I worry about the comfort.

I know how talented you are with this so I'll suggest it.  We have a vintage Jenny Lind high chair, you can still buy them for about $70, that we refinished.  I painted it with a primer than with a tan and topped wth a black, this way when I sanded the edges we got a distressed black finish.  I now it sounds like work, but I love what we ended up with and think it is an heirloom.(I'll try to get some pics up). You can even get cushions to matc you breakfast nook.

Thanks girls!  Yeah, boosters won't work with my chairs since they have a skirt.  And I definitely want one with a tray.  I like the Chicco ones.  And I also like the look of the Jenny Lind ones, wonder if they are comfortable...

I also am considering this Zooper one, wonder if it looks too contemporary for my kitchen...
Can't post the pic, so here's a link:
