I just switched from low-ogestrol to yaz. I read another thread about yaz and it making people kind of loopy. Has anyone had success with it?

Didn't work for me either. Tried if for 3 months (the amount of time your body is supposed to take to 'adjust') and was both very fatigued and very morning sick for that entire time. I was also pretty hysterical through each period I had.
The hormone in Yaz is different from other BCP, so when/if it works well with your body chemistry I've heard it's great. If it doesn't work well with your body chemistry, ughhhhhhhhhhhh.
I'd just pay attention closely to how you feel for your first month on it. If it doesn't feel like your body is getting used to it I'd go ahead and switch to something else and save yourself a couple months of the ick!

Like Elle said, try it and just see how you react. I tried Yaz and Yazmin and it just made me crazy and I cried almost everyday but there are some girls that have been fine on it.
I had been on Yasmin...I tried it for acne and it didn't help much for that. The only other side effect I had was that it was difficult for me to tolerate my contacts (I had been on other BCP's and never had that problem) and once I went off the Yasmin that problem stopped. Emotion wise I had no problems at all.
