I've been looking for months for a pair of cream-colored boots. I've looked at everything Zappos has in bone, ivory, white, taupe, etc., and nada.
Basically, I'm looking for something fairly refined (not too western) but not toooo refined (nothing prissy, nothing with a pointy toe, nothing patent [obviously!]). Any ideas where I might find?
If the Miss Sixty Dance boot that was out a few years back had come in cream it would have been perfect!
Thanks so much, everyone! All of these are great options, and both the ones Suasora posted (Soho Labs) and the Fryes definitely fit what I need; I just need to decide which would be best.
Any thoughts on the Fryes vs. the Soho Labs?
I lean toward the Fryes, but I wonder if it's silly to spend a lot on a boot that could potentially be trashed in two seasons, no matter how sweetly I treat it. For me, the over $300 pricepoint is a big deal. Up to $300 seems more justifiable, somehow.
Ooh, they're so different. The Fryes are indeed a lifetime commitment, but they're more casual because of the heel/sole. The Soho Labs are more dressy or office-appropriate IMO. So it depends on your needs...but I'm glad you liked them.
