Thanks Maven. From a San Diego perspective, it has been a nightmare. 3/4 of my office was evacuated and my boss lost his home (actually homes as he had a guest house and main house) to the fire. Smoke and ash are everywhere and the air quality is horrible. All this being said, the city is remarkably calm and people are really working together well. I never cease to be amazed at the human spirit and this disaster has been a perfect example of people helping each other. I am so proud of my city and how they are handling this disaster. We really do deserve to be called "America's finest city".
