Nanny Diaries (the movie)

If anyone sees this, please report back.  I'd like to hear a review.

I loved the book, but based on the previews the movie doesn't look very good (compared to the book at least).  There seems to be a heavy focus on romance and slapstick stuff, which is not what the book was like.

I'm going to see it tomorrow night, so I'll report back on Sunday.  I agree w/you though - I'm skeptical.  I loved the book, but so far from the previews, the movie looks a lot different from the book.

I've never read the book so I probably won't be much help, but me and my sister (ladysi) liked it.
It actually wasn't really about the romance stuff. I would recommend seeing it. It's a cute movie to go see, relax, laugh and I actually had some teary eyes throughout.

It was a cute movie, but it was a little slower than the book.

I know if it was any other actresses, I wouldn't care about this movie at all, but I love Scarlett Johannson and Laura Linney, so I feel very obligated to go!

I honestly thought the movie was horrible compared to the book.  I know the books are always better, but i really felt that this movie sucked.

I all in favor of a little artistic license when adapting a book to a screenplay, but i can't see how they came up with this!

With all of that being said, I try to forget that I read the book...and I think for those that haven't read the book, it would be a cute movie to watch.

I also thought that the book was far better than the movie, but it's usually the case, IMO.

I actually liked it. I thought it was super cute and pretty good for the most part, but I do wish they had made it a little bit more like the book.

My friend, who has also read the book, liked the movie.
