So, who is still hooked on this show with me?  I can't get enough...it cracks me up.  The funniest part is that my husband was in the bedroom working out and came out to get a drink and saw that The Hills was on and brought his weights in to watch with me!!!  He is hooked too!

I think it is really odd watching a show when we already know what happens in real life.  It was still pretty good though.  I can't help but wonder at this point if Heidi really didn't have anything to do with the sex tape rumors.

I don't know if Heidi/Spencer started those rumors...we'll probably never know for sure.  I feel like I can see both girl's sides though.  I think Lauren seems to have a problem when her best friend's get boyfriends and she doesn't have one.  First she did it to Heidi - yes, Spencer was a douche bag in the beginning, but he seems to love Heidi, and if she's happy, Lauren should be happy for her.  Now, LC seems to have a problem w/Audrina's new boyfriend ( I have to admit I can see why - Justin Bobby?  WTF!).  I don't know about Lauren....

BTW, I know I'm probably alone here, but I'm totally looking forward to Jason being on the show - if nothing else, it's good tv watching biggrin

So maybe Heidi and Spencer did start the rumors, which is despicable if true.  But Lauren didn't seem to be making an effort to clear it up or hear Heidi's side at all.  I think I generally side with Lauren, but I am recognizing that her communicative skills need some work.

The yelling incident at the bar was pretty juvenile...they are what 21 years old?  These things are usually never resolved while drinking either.  I believe things would have actually became less heated if Audrina weren't present during the argument, none of it was Audrina's fault, but her comments in stereo with Lauren just added tension.  It really appeared that Heidi was at least trying to make nice.

I just watched it, and oh boy. I can tell it's going to be a good season!

I feel like Lauren is really immature though - maybe it's just the editing, but it seems like she never wants her friends to have boyfriends or be happy! She seems like a very jealous person. Why can't she just let her friends live their lives the way they want to? It's like she thinks that because her boyfriend treated her a certain way that everyone's bf will treat them that way.

I don't know if Heidi and Spencer started those rumors, but how can Lauren have any kind of conclusive proof? And I hate hate hate when people use the line "you know what you did" in arguments. It's so petty! If you're mad at someone for something, say it instead of making them guess. Yes, maybe Heidi did start those rumors, but she seemed genuinely confused when Lauren was assaulting her. I think Lauren has some growing up to do.

Did anyone else think Heidi's ring seemed fake? Where did he even buy that? You think he would have gone to a jewelry store!

From what I read in a magazine, her center stone isn't a diamond. I dont remember what stone, but I think the surrounding stones are diamonds.

I was going to bring this up too....it totally looked like costume jewelry or something....it was just sitting there in a case next to the same ring in different colors....anyone familiar with this store "ICE"?  It looked like a nice store, but I am not familiar with a boutique that sells purses and other random accessories with fine jewelry other than major department stores.

It's not an engagement ring.  Spencer is quoted in a Entertainment Weekly saying "we would get engaged, but not on Lauren's show" and talking about how that was totally scripted by MTV, and sometimes what you see on the show is not what's actually happening in their lives....

I don't know why I watch this show.

Spencer seems fake. No man really compliments his woman THAT MUCH.

Lauren seems pathetic and jealous. She acted like sucha loser when she met that British guy. If I were him, I would have left her at the bar!

The engagement was extremely scripted, he never said will you marry me, and she didn't seem touched or emotional at all.

Stupid and fake but I will still watch. :)

OMG, i could NOT STOP LAUGHING when Heidi walked into her Hollywood graffiti living room.  Hands down my favorite moment.  So hideous, i'd probably have dumped him right there.
That Justin Bobby guy rubs me the wrong way, but Lauren and Lo were being kind of bitchy to him.  LC sucks, as usual.  I hated what she was saying about the cute british guy with an accent.  Jackpot!  *shudder*
Audrina and Whitney are alright.  I don't hate Heidi- I wouldn't be surprised if she started the rumors, but also wouldn't be surprised if she didn't.  Sex tape LC?  Please- you probably do have one.  If not, who cares?  Its not the worst rumor to have about you, especially if no tape ever surfaces.  It's what keeps your career going.

Ok, I just saw the second episode today.

I can't believe how bitchy Lauren gets every time one of her friends gets a BF. It's like she can't handle having someone's SO come before her!! She's nuts. And did anyone else find it completely hypocritical that she's giving Audrina shit for dating her bad-boy ex, when she's about to start dating hers again!?

I don't think Lauren and Jason are going to date again - from what I've read in the news, he's got some other girlfriend and they're just friends.  That being said, she is a TOTAL hypocrite - she went back to Jason after he cheated on her that first time.  She's crazy, seriously.  I can't get on board w/her, because it's obviously not just Spencer she hates - she obviously doesn't want any of her girlfriend to have boyfriends unless she does.  She never cared about Heidi's other boyfriend, because she was w/Jason at that time.

I know if my supposely bestfriend started a rumor about me I'll be really pissed off. So I understand Lauren being mad at her. I do agree though it's not such a big deal, but still. You should be able to trust your bff.

Even though Lauren has been acting like a total brat and a hypocrite I still like her.
