Maybe those who would like a tatoo but can't commit to a design that they would like forever could find a design that they really like now that could be easily (or semi-easily) modified added to later.

If I got a tat, I would go for something that incorporates my personality type (INFP), my astrological junk, and/or something with Mid-Century Modern flair or architecture-related.  I dunno...I think about it a lot but could could never make a final decision and like it forever.

I've always said I'd never get a tattoo, but I have been tempted twice. Once, by a French girl who lived in Tahiti growing up. She had the MOST gorgeous tortoise tattoo'd between her shoulder blades. I've never seen another tattoo in black ink that i would even consider, but this was just breathtaking. The other tattoo I've been tempted by is the white ink on the inside of the wrist. But I don't know what I'd write - i would want it to be something about making the choice to be happy (i've had some problems with depression), or about choosing your attitude in life, but I'm not sure how to say it in such a small space. Also, I feel like I'd feel it was a very "trendy" tattoo, and I'd get sick of it when everyone else had them (much like my belly button piercing).

I hope that anyone who DOES get the white tattoos will post pictures! I absolutely love looking at them.

Now I can't stop thinking about tattoos...

I always thought it would be cool if someone got stocking-seams tattooed up the back of her legs. Of course, this person would have to be super hardcore about tats; but I can totally picture it on a punk-a-billy girl who wears a constant retro, Bettie Page-esque style.

I have never seen it done on anyone though.

I've been thinking about tattoos constantly now too. I really like the idea of wings in a heart shape (someone said their friend had that). I've been looking for pictures, but I can't find exactly what I want.

I have a lower back tattoo that I got when I turned 40. I love the ocean so it's an ocean scene with a whale's tale and a cool saying. I love everything about it and the vibrant colors.
I don't see it unless I want to so I'm not tired of it.

I'm wanting another small one at the lower base of my neck about shoulder level (so it can be easily covered). I'm going to have Beautiful Girls written in either Italian or ??? to symbolize our beautiful daughters.
