This is a question for those who don't hate leggings...

Do you think it's still okay to wear leggings this season? I love leggings (what can I say, I'm an 80's girl at heart!) and especially have enjoyed wearing them in the fall and winter as a warmer version of black, opaque tights under dresses and skirts. I notice them being sold in the new fall lines on fashion-forward websites like Shopbop and in the magazines, which leads me to think that they're still okay. (Or as some might say, as okay as they ever were.)

What do you think? If you liked leggings, do you think it's still okay to wear them for one more year?

I voted yes. I haven't worn them yet, but I plan on trying them out this fall. I'd love to pair them with a mini since I'd never wear one with bare legs!

i wasn't into leggings, but i don't think they'll be particularly passe this coming fall/winter. if they function more like opaque tights as opposed to pants (i.e. butt-skimming 'tunics' and leggings), i think they're fine.

I like them when used in place of opaque tights, but otherwise not a big fan.

from looking in magazines, i think they have been replaced by tights - like ribbed or cable knit ones

I always wanted to try them but was afraid of "fashion victim" status. I have seen them in several magazines for fall. And BF knows I'm into clothes, so he dutifully reports to me on any trends he hears about (it's really cute and sweet, actually). Anyway, apparently on some show he was watching the other day they were saying how cutting-edge leggings are - I tried to convince him that this trend was revived like a year ago, but he didn't agree with me. Anyway, FWIW, I'm still hearing about how trendy they are.

That is exactly how I feel. I am afraid of looking like a fashion victim, but I still really want to try them. I just bought the Cosmo Style & Beauty mag and they are showing them in there with a mini dress.

I don't care. I have a couple of go to black leggins that I tend to pull on if I feel my dress is too short or too cold for work. I do like tights in the fall though too.

Sometimes they're ok..but ONLY black. I'm not a fan of the colored ones.
