Praise the Heavens, I have found the holy grail of mascaras!
Kiss Me Mascara is absolutely the best mascara I have ever tried. I have been using waterproof mascara as a standard for many years because I am so oily that I always end up with raccoon eyes by mid afternoon. Every waterproof mascara I have tried has also flaked or shown up at least a little under my eyes by days end. Plus, taking mascara off, even with remover (baby oil, mascara remover, soap, you name it) doesn't work 100% and I would always wake the next morning with a little bit of raccoon eyes.
I have known about Kiss Me mascara for years but have been too afraid to try it. I had a friend who would take it off dry with her fingers and it just looked too much to me like she was pulling out eyelashes too. Well, I was at Sephora a couple weekends ago and got a free sample size. I cannot believe I waited so long to try it! The wand isn't the best, and tends to lend to clumping, but I have never had a problem removing clumps with my fingers with other mascaras and this one is no different. Plus, now that I have used it for a good week and a half, the wand doesn't cause clumping anymore (less product on it, I'm assuming). So, it's not the best application in the world, but with a little practice (very little) you can achieve the look you like. I like nice, full thick looking lashes and can acheive that look with several coats.
The amazing thing is that the mascara doesn't come off, yet it comes off super-easy when you actually want to remove it. I have cried buckets and had one little strand (tube) come off, but no raccoon eyes. When I wash my face at night, I just press my fingers on my lashes and continue to rinse and it comes off so effortlessless and completely. I haven't lost any lashes (well, no more than I normally see, which is maybe one or two lashes a week, again, which is normal for me).
My mom tried it and loves it too. I just ordered a full size ($24) for me and mom (as a little gift), and know I'll be using this mascara from now on!
Try it if you have raccoon eye issues or hate getting the mascara off at night.
I have to second this. I love Kiss Me mascara. I used it for months then switched back to the drug store kind because of budget reasons, and its no where near as good. When I buy more I'm definitely going back to Kiss Me.
