I've been looking for a new tan flat to replace my old ones.  I just want something basic and really like these.  Another board thought they were too grandma or boring, lol smile  But like I said, I want basic because I like stuff that's not too detailed, etc.

So, your thoughts?

not saying this to be mean, but they look very grandma to me -- it's the buckle embellishment... I would try to find some with no embellishments if you truly want something basic and not detailed...

these are on sale for $35.99 and are in a 5.5 (I recall your feet being small - can't remember the size)

I agree, they're grandma-ish. I think its the shape of the toe, its not pointy enough or round enough, sort of in between which is a very dated look. Keep searching!

Just based on your past posts of things you like or have bought I really can't see you wearing these. I think if they were plain without the buckle they would be perfect, hopefully since we are getting more into fall pieces something will pop up. I will keep my eye out for you! smile

I'm going to be the loner and say I like them, but if two boards vote Grandma...you should probably listen to them...I guess at least this means you know someone else out there likes grandma style shoes smile
