I heart.gif Amy Butler!  I am working on a throw/quilt right now featuring some of the designs from the Belle collection.  I've also made the Cabo Halter in a batik fabric I picked up at WalMart and it turned out super cute.  Check out her book In Stiches for some neat projects.

I've never heard of AB before, but I'm glad you pointed it out! I'm hoping to sign up for a sewing class soon, so I bookmarked it to make lots of cool skirts later biggrin

alagirl, I'm so excited that you know her fabrics!  I'm so jealous that you are making a quilt - I bet it's going to be beautiful!

ttara, I really want to take a sewing class!  It makes me sad that Amy Butler doesn't sell any of the fabulous clothes that she shows, like this top:

her fabrics are gorgeous IRL! I have used both the quilting weight and some heavier weight home-dec fabrics. her book, "In Stitches" is really fun too... i have my heart set on making the patchwork throw/quilt just have to find the perfect set of fabrics.
