I start my new job this week and have to go to a resort in Florida for a sales meeting. The dress code is "business resort casual"-what does that mean??? Bonus points for any pictures of what comes to mind as appropriate for this!
Wow I have never even heard of that haha. I would venture to say that if you wore something like a flowy skirt, or bermudas ("resort") add something on top like a fitted blazer or work appropriate top/shoes ("business")...you are much better off being a little over dressed than showing up in a hawaii print shirt with a bucket of Coronas right!!!! Sounds fun! Make sure you post what you decide to wear!! Maybe something like this...not nessecarily these color combos...but you get the idea :)
Can't go wrong with a wrap dress..
Hope this helps a little ;)

It's still business casual, while keeping the tropical weather or season in mind. Your usual office look but in lighter-weight fabrics or colors, for example. Like this linen jacket and cropped pant combo -
I would go with trousers in light colors & pretty blouses. Bring a structered nuetral jacket , JIC you need to be more formal.. I think banana republic or Jcrew is probably perfect for what you need. Bonus: It should be on sale , since fall items are coming in!
