So, last Saturday we had a friend of ours (a software engineer who dabbles in photography on the side) take our engagement photos in the Boston Garden.

FH's mom is really antsy for us to send her one asap for the newspaper of the town where we grew up. We might also include one in the save-the-dates.

Sooo..... we've narrowed it down but can't decide. What's your favorite for both purposes? Newspaper pic will obviously be b&w, but would a color or b&w pic be best for the save-the-dates?

I like 2, 4 and 5. I like the color shots better. I do like the black and white, but you guys are so cute, show it in color!

Although #5 is my fav it wouldn't work well for in a newspaper (people need to see your face so they can recognize you!!). I would choose #4 I think. They all look really good!

You guys are so cute, and Chris - you look gorgeous!

I like #2 the best for your newspaper annoucement.  While I like #1 a lot too, I prefer #2 because you're touching and it looks more affectionate and loving.

I love #4 in color for your save the date cards!

I prefer the black and white for both purposes. i love black and white photos.

For the Newspaper announcements, I'd use either #2 or #4. I think those would be best because you are facing the camaera.

For save the date stuff, I pick #5.
