Sorry, Y'all. I am so not French. So, if I spelled the name of the movie/dish wrong, forgive me. I am too lazy to look it up.
Anyway, just wanted to provide a short review. So cute! The voiceovers in this movie are ravishing--especially once you figure out who some of the actors are. I was rooting for the rat the entire time. Very cool movie. The animation was quite good. Long for a "kids'" movie (1hour, 50 minutes, I think). Adults like this film too. It is getting awesome reviews. It's a fun romp.
I took my daughters to this Saturday night. I loved it! It was such a heartwarming movie. I think it is the best Pixar movie yet. I can't wait to see it again. I'd recommend it to everyone, not just kids!
i loved it too. i took the kids i nanny. the 12 yr old loved it, so did the 3.5 yr old, however it was a little long for him.

I loved it! I'm a bit strange because I think that (pet, not sewer) rats are very cute, so I was looking forward to the movie since I saw the previews. I also found it interesting that Pixar hired Thomas Keller, the chef who owns French Laundry (and also Per Se in NYC, I think) as a consultant to teach the animators how a restaurant kitchen was organized. He also designed all the food for the movie.

WOW!!! i had no idea he was the consultant. one of DH's chefs worked for him @ French Laundry, so they'll both be surprised.
anyway... my mom is taking my son to see this movie tomorrow afternoon. after reading these reviews i want to go with them! i never, never, never go to the movies but an afternoon off and a frozen coke sounds pretty good.
