Ok so I'm having lunch at LaColonial in Chicago with a friend and the most gorgeous baby is giving me the cuteness and waving so I start talking to the husband and he's totally nice and sweet and them the mom turns around and it's Maggie Gyllanhall!!! And of coure blabber mouth that I am I start telling her how my Dh wants to have kids and I'm sort of not sure and she says how great it is and how it's definaely a change but wonderful and she's so normal and such a loving mother and they we chatting with us like normal. I asked her how old she was and what her name was and the baby was slapping my hands and pulling on my hair, she was adorable. So totally exited I met her, pretended I had no clue who she was and talked to her and her hubby for like 20 minutes!!!
Ok funniest part of the story though. My GF and I had been cocktailing all day and shopping so we're a bit tipsy at the time so my friend tels Maggie "your baby is almost as cute as my golden retreiver" I just about died. Maggie and her husband were laughing so hard at this!

Thought I'd share the story with everyone!

That's a great story, I love her.

It's nice to hear about celebs that our nice and down to earth. I also think it's cool that you managed to have a convo with her without making a big deal about her celebrity.
