Recommendations for Shoes you could walk in for 10+ hrs?
Permalink Closed

I'm on the hunt for some *cute/stylish* comfy shoes for Disneyland next week.  Anyone have any recommendations for me?  I was hoping for a little height (wedge maybe?) since I feel stumpy in shorts and flat shoes.  DH thinks I'm nuts...

Honestly, at Disneyland and Disneyworld all I care about is not getting my shoes too wet or dirty. I'd just wear a pair of flip flops or sneakers and call it a day. You will still be better dressed than 99% of the Croc and Disney Jibbitz-wearing armies that have taken over both places.

However, I have worn these FarylRobins for 10+ hours with minimal discomfort after walking for maybe 2 miles. The wedge is only 1"...not sure if that's enough...plus I haven't found them online for any less than $100+. I think they may be on sale at B&Ms.

I hope you all have lots of fun!

PS: you always look amazing. you could never look stumpy! smile

I have these  Michael Kors shoes(mine are gold) and they are extremely comfortable.
They are leather though,so I don't know if you would want to wear them at Disney.

I have a pair of Reaction Kenneth Cole (low - 1.5") wedge flip flops that are very comfortable. Mine are black, but I saw them in bronze at Loehmanns yesterday, on the clearance rack for about $30. I also bought my black ones there, but I didn't see them at the one by me. I can wear them all day at work then go shopping in them, and I am fine.

Disney World is only an hour away from me and I have an annual pass, so I go a lot. The shoes that work best for me are Reef flipflops for warm weather and Uggs for cooler weather (don't think you'd want to wear those).

I know a lot of people HATE Uggs but my mom has the Croc wedges and they aren't so heinous and they have 2.5 inch heel. I've tried them on and they are ridiculously comfortable. On the Crocs website, you can get them in several color combos or solid black.

No real height, but I walked all day in these with no pain. Also, I would not wear sandals or open-toed shoes in D-land. I made that mistake once; my feet were filthy and got stepped on all day.

I don't have any real shoe suggestions, but when you find your very comfy shoes, add in some insoles for extra benefits.

I can wear pretty much any shoe with the Dr. Scholls gel insoles and be comfy for hours at a time. Not sure if that's an option for you, but they're definitely comfy!
