Who watched it? All I have to say is WTF? What kind of crazy ending was that? I guess I get it, but I was not expecting that! Kind of a let down? Anyone else agree?
Am I the only one who thought something was wrong with their cable at the end? I looked at my husband and said I can't believe our cable just went out. Then I realized nope, not the cable, just a crappy ending. Huge letdown.
I loved the whole episode including the ending. David Chase did an excellent job of bringing every story to a conclusion while keeping that great Sopranos tension, and incorporating some great character moments: Paulie and the cat, Agent Harris's glee that the Jersey boys he watched for years hoping to bust will live to commit crime another day. The end was great because it really gives the viewer a "choose your own adventure" sort of ending. It also reminds us that not everything in life has a definite conclusion. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

One theory that I heard, that I found very compelling, was that Tony was shot as Meadow walked in. The screen went to black and silent, because as Tony and Bobby mentioned in the 1st episode of the season, you don't hear or see anything when you get killed.
I was annoyed at first and thought it was a waste of time, but after thinking about it, i'm ok w/it. Life goes on... even for the Sopranos. I don't think he needed to necessarily wrap it up and give everything a definite end.
Twinkle, I feel the same way. At first I was like "WHAT?? THAT'S IT??" Now I like that the end wasn't definite. I'm sad the show is over though. I'm going to miss my Sopranos fix.
