FP, it's beautiful!! Seriously, it looks like something out of a magazine. You're awesome, that kind of stuff is so not my thing so I really admire people who are good at it.
Oh, it's adorable! I can't remember, did you paint the wardrobe/shelf things or did they come like that? Either way, they're fantastic. Great job!
Thanks! Yup, we painted them. Hubby taped and I painted. He said he is done taping stuff to paint for the rest of his life cause between the furniture and the walls he has about 10+ hours of time invested in just taping stuff.

Wow! I am super impressed. My BIL owns a painting co. and he would be proud of that. Nice job!

Wow! That is a beautiful room. It definitely says "FP" to me, but it also has a boyish look and it seems both appropriate for a baby and for adults. You really did a great job. Now, I just can't wait to see pics of that baby boy of yours!!!
Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
Looks so cute! It's almost exactly like the room I'll be using for our baby, but the wall above the arch window in ours is super high. I don't even want to think about painting that!!!! What are you going to do for the arch? I've been thinking about that dilemma, but I hate those "fan" things!
Drew, I actually use to work in interior decorating back when I worked. It's something I really enjoy.
MissMee, that arch has proved to be the biggest pain in the butt! Orginially we were just going to do regular panels below the arch and get some faux wood blinds for the arch but since the arch goes all the way to the ceiling we would have to do the really expensive custom blinds (we're talking $1000 just for the arch blinds!!!), so we obviously aren't doing that. So I ended up buying another set of the window panels and am having them sewn together (we're putting decorative trim along that seam) and she is curving the top of the panels and we found a curtain rod thing that fits inside the arch, so the curtains will go from the top to the bottom and will meet in the middle and I will just pull them back with tie backs to let light in. Not sure if that makes sense, I will post a pic when they are done.
BargainQueen, yup we used the wall paint for the furniture so it matched. And then we used a spray on matte clear coat cause otherwards the paint would have just scratched off.
