They have THE WORST customer service ever! I have emailed the corporate office twice about their service and vowed after last week, never to step foot in that location again!
The telephone customer service is wonderful, though. They are very helpful in helping find things that are sold out online.
The first time a few months back I had actually called the store to ask for an item, since I live about 30 minutes away I didn't want to drive over there for nothing, and the sales person that answered the phone said "oh no we don't have that anymore", without even putting the phone down. I thought it was odd that they would memorize every item in the store. Well, a couple of weeks after I went in and they did have it, but my size was gone by that time. If they would have just said they didn't have time to look, I would have totally understood, but instead they lied.
Then Friday I went back in and there was a woman with an armload of items. The sales lady asked her if she needed help and she said no. I was standing there and I needed a dress in my size and asked her if she could please check in back. She just looked at me and said "I don't think we have that" and turned her head! No I don't think we have it, but let me check, nothing! Then I ended up buying a different dress so I went to stand in line. There were three ladies checking, one of them the rude woman from before. So the person she was waiting on left first, which would mean I was next. I took a step or two toward her register and she gave me a look and the head turn again and walked off!! I don't know what that ladies problem was, but that in addition to the phone thing, has lost my business for good. I know it sounds petty, but the look she kept giving me was beyond rude!
I don't blame you - I can't stand rude SA's and people who are like that do not belong in any job where they have to deal with the public. They need to work at a desk, in a small, concrete room with no windows so other people don't have to deal with their unpleasantness. I don't get it!
I do think that it may be more beneficial to talk to the store manager than to corporate. She may not know what's going on, and if you're pissed enough to boycott I'm guessing that you're probably not the only one.
Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
I have an update! The store manager was sent my email from the corporate office and sent me an offer for a $30 gift card if I would come in to shop with two of her best sales people. I appreciate the offer, but there is no way that I would walk in that store and introduce myself as the person who got them in trouble twice, even though they fully deserved it!Not to mention the fact that I promised myself I would never spend a dime in that location again.
Is this the one on Westheimer (I don't know if there is only one location or not)? That is nice at least that they're trying to retain your business, too bad you can't just use the giftcard online!
