Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
ugh I saw that on the superficial or one of those websites. The whole thing annoys me - I just hate when those women won't give each other a chance to speak so everyone yells at the same time and no one can tell what's going on. That show seriously annoys me. I don't know how anyone puts up with it. If everyone had a turn to speak I'd still be bored to tears, but at least it would be coherent.

They both seem really stubborn. And it seems extrodinarily childish to hold a grudge against someone because they won't defend you as a friend when you make an outlandish statement like, "X number of Iraqi civilians have died at the hand of US troops. Iraq didn't invade the US, so who really are the terrorists?" And Elizabeth is supposed to defend Rosie and say she understood what Rosie meant by that statement. That is a loaded statement and deserves to be criticized. Rosie's refusal to explain herself and then pick a fight with Elizabeth (who shares opposite political views) is extremely antagonistic and passive aggressive, now Rosie is playing hurt friend and injured party.
The View's producers were seeming really desperate to get ratings and attention by allowing that fight to escalate and continue as long as it did before finally taking a commercial break. The View will be so sorry to have Rosie go, they'll probably see their ratings tank, so they're trying to squeeze in all they can while it's sweeps. Pathetic, but highly entertaining.
I cannot stand Rosie, but she is hard to not watch, you know the whole train wreck thing.
Gosh, I hardly ever agree with what Elizabeth says, but what Rosie set her up for by asking that question was absurd. I don't understand how Rosie calls Elizabeth a coward for not sticking up for her when it's clearly NOT something Elizabeth could agree with! Sheesh!
