Can I wear this to a wedding?

The wedding is in June. I thought this was a nice dress, but I'm wondering if it's too sexy for a wedding. Thoughts? Also comes in black, which I like and would be more versitile, but is it okay to wear black to a day wedding? TIA!

I think it would be fine with tasteful jewelry and a wrap or cardigan (especially if the ceremony is in a church).

I agree!  I'm not really an expert on wedding outfits, but I think that in most parts of the country, wearing black would be fine to a daytime wedding even if it's not the most "traditional wedding-y" sort of thing to wear, especially if you add some colorful accessories.

I think it's fine with some cute accessories, however if you have a lot of cleavage, I would wear a cropped cardi or something in church

I think it's fine too with a cardi or wrap for the church ceremony. But I do think I'd go with the color over the black, I'm fine with black for an evening or formal wedding but for a daytime wedding I wouldn't wear a black dress.

Thanks ladies. I do like the color and figured it would be okay. I'm not sure what time the wedding is. It might be late afternoon into early evening.

I don't know why I even worry about what to wear, because whenever I go to wedding I see people breaking dress code rules all over the place, and I'm just like "Why did I even bother?" I'll probably be really dressed up in that dress which to me isn't all that fancy.

i think that's totally appropriate.  i always find that i'm the most dressed up to daytime weddings too, so i would keep the jewelry more casual.  i picture this type of accessorizing with it...

or something along those lines (fancy shoe, and casual necklace).  i really like the idea of green with that color dress.

I think black would be fine if you add a colorful wrap/cardigan. I went to a fancy-schmancy daytime society wedding in Houston two years ago and half the women there were wearing black!
