I am not sure what to say, but I think I remember that being judgemental about others' food choices is one of the warning signs of an eating disorder. I am sorry.

Really? I didn't know that. But yeah, whenever I talk about anything I'm eating, she makes comments about my food choices. She has something bad to say about almost EVERY type of food aside from chicken, white fish, brown rice, and broccoli.

just out of curiousity, did she have the weight to lose?  Is she at her slimmest ever? sometimes that can overencourage and make people want to keep losing and losing.
i'm sure its some kind of disorder when you're that fixated on diet/weight/the way you look, even if technically you're not starving.  I had a friend that ate an okay amount of calories but would talk my EAR off about diet and exercise. ugh- i don't care if your cookie is 200 calories and you already had a huge bowl of cereal this morning and omg so many carbs but you're working out for an hour and then eating a reasonable dinner tonight blah blah blah.  Every conversation.
i dont know what to say as advice- people are so sensitive about this kind of stuff.  As far as her commenting on your choices though, i'd probably snap and tell her to just stop.

I agree with Lynnie. It sounds like shes so fixated on the diet because its working so "well" for her. It seems like she has an addiction. I really dont have any advice for you either. Are there other friends or family that you know, that are noticing the same thing? Maybe if she knows that several people have a concern, she'll realize theres a problem. confused I dont know. hmm Im sorry.
