Any must sees or dos?  I'll only be there for a short time but would love to hear your suggestions.  The Tower Restaurant for dinner and the Castle are already on the agenda.  wink.gif

There's a castle in Edinburgh, and up in that area are a bunch of cute shops. On Princes Street are the chain stores - I'd suggest looking at Harvey Nicks if you have time, and the chain stores tend to have cute, cheap clothing. Primark (I don't remember if they have one) is extremely cheap.

The castle is nice, also at the end of the Royal mile is the Queen's residence,  the palace of Holyroodhouse.
You can do a ghost tour if you're into that.  We did it and it was interesting at the least.
You should definitely do breakfast or lunch at Harrod's, it's a great experience with a nice view.  That store is amazing - in my entire shopping life I have never seen so many balenciagas, choos and chanel all at the same time :)
There are some cute boutiques on the high street.  Tons of cell phone stores you should peek in to see cool new phones we don't have in the states.  Also H&M and woolworth which isn't as bad as the ones we used to have here, and a cute lingerie store whose name I forget.
They also have a Molton Brown brick & mortar.  That's how I started getting hooked on their products.
HTH!
