Has anyone had any problems ordering directly from Stila? A couple weeks ago I ordered a couple eye shadow pots and a kajal black eyeliner. When I received my order I got a notice saying that the eyeliner was "out of stock" and they would credit my account for the item. I was a bit annoyed because I wanted that eyeliner! So I check my account today, and ten days later- they've yet to credit my account! I emailed their customer service- I hope they do something to rectify this matter.
Nope. I put it on my debit card......Charges and credits show up on my online account balance pretty quickly. I emailed them Thurs. morning and got an automated response saying they'd get back to me within 24 hours. Haven't heard back yet.
So I finally got a credit for the item not included in my order, but a month after the fact. Meanwhile, I emailed customer service again (after a week of hearing nothing) and got two responses back. One said that a credit had been made to my account (nothing else, no apology for the inconvenience). The other was a very apologetic inquiry from a different cust. service rep. I emailed the responsive rep with a copy of the original email and explained why I was disappointed in the curt response I originally got, etc. I then get an email from the cust. service rep that originally emailed me apologizing for her curtness and saying she was going to send me "a little something" for my trouble. Three weeks later, and I haven't received anything. What should I do? I don't want to seem like someone trolling for free stuf, but the principle of the matter gets me. She told me I would get something.
Many companies take at least 1 billing cycle to credit. They still should've been nicer over email though and (apparently) followed through with their "little something."
I would be happy you finally got your refund resolved and let the freebie go. It seems like way to much of a hassle IMO to keep calling for some little freebie.
And learn from the expierence, next time order from sephora! (Plus you always get freebies from sephora)
