Seriously I just don't get this with girls. The snide comments the jealousy. Why can't women in general just be happy for each other. I get so furious when women call each other names and bad mouth their own friends. Which is why my group of girlfriends is like 3 girls that I trust with everything.
Kitty, when I got married my "friends" just became different. distant, rude, indifferent. My DH and his friend chalked it up to jealousy. Jealousy or not it's still hard. And since my wedding I haven't spoken to two of my bridesmaids. They just disappeared and honestly I'm better for it. I realized they didn't make me feel good about myself when I was with them. The friends I do have, though few, are good, honest and supportive.
Clean house, only spend time with people who make you feel good. While I obviously don't know you that well you seem like such a good person. Good people are hard to come by and you deserve friends who are real and there for you.
And by the way, your dress is gorgeous!

Well, I posted my wedding dress today on the board and a few of my friends made some bitchy comments.

Wow. Just. Wow. That is about as low as someone can go. Were these comments made on the board itself for you to view?

All I can say is there's something about weddings that really sets people on edge. Not an excuse, just a stupid reality.
