This morning the newspaper reported that 5 characters will be killed off Lost during the month of May. Does anyone want to speculate who they will be? I honestly think that Hurley will be among them.
Futhermore, they said that Locke and Jack will have a Battle Royale on the last episode of the season and Entertainment Weekly is reporting that JJ Abrams is looking to make next year the final season. Good stuff!!

Ohh I can't wait. I was getting frustrated with the show earlier this season but it's getting really good again. I keep hearing Charlie is going to do die, but I wonder if it's just planted info. I would assume not all 5 would be "losties"...I am guessing at least a couple of those would have to be "others"...Ben, Juliette?
Can I just say how much I loved Sawyer's line about the mix tape last night...I thought it was hilarious...I think he gets the best lines on the show.
Nooooooo! He is one of my favorite characters. I was so happy that a lot of last night featured him (and a bit of Penny), even though overall I didn't think it was that great of an episode.
I loved it when Sawyer said, "You don't have to use me, freckles, all you have to do is ask." He was so sexy right then...if I were Kate I'd be all over that instead of brooding over Jack.

I agree w/ all of this. Desmond is one of my favorite characters. I didn't love the episode, but I liked that we got more Desmond backstory.
I also think Kate and Sawyer are a much better match. Jack just seems like no fun whatsoever. Altho, his little thing w/ Juliette is pretty gross.
I cannot image who they are going to kill off. I'm excited for next week, it looked like they were going to focus more on Sun's pregnancy.

I agree that this week's episode wasn't terribly exciting. But I thought it was interesting that Desmond had been a monk. Crazy! And that he was engaged before Penny. I can't remember who Ruth is in the bible, but I have a feeling the ex-fiance's name being Ruth probably has some meaning.
Anyway, I hope Desmond doesn't die. I kind of doubt he will because there's still some unresolved stuff there and it seems like they tend to kill off characters who don't have any more mystery left. I think Locke and Charlie could be goners. I'm still dying to know why Locke's dad is on the island and how they got him.
I hope the producers make a podcast this week and if they'll confirm the 5 characters dying.
Yeah, it looks like Charlie might be a goner. Desmond seems like he still has more story and a bigger impact on what's going on, so I think he'll stick around. I would be so sad if Hurley got killed!
I've never thought about Alex, but yeah, she seems like she'd be easy enough to kill off. There's not much there for that character. Killing off Ben would be super-interesting, since it seems as though he's the reason they're all there in the first place.
I wonder if one of them will be Locke's father? On the previews for next week it shows him trying to get Sawyer to kill "Ben" but he has a cloth covering his face. When Sawyer asks why he doesn't do it, he says he can't and starts crying.
