You guys have given me such good inspiration for my house projects-what kind of kitchen faucets do you like? We have the standard stainless steel sink and I cannot do anything too dark or earthy (nothing black or cream)...any ideas?
Mine is this basic one from Chicago Faucets - it met my requirements and had a pot filler to match. My thing was that it had to be old-school looking, have a really tall spout, and I had to be able to turn it on and off with my elbow if my hands are a mess.
If you have more of a country/provincial style or more contemporary kitchen, then this one won't do it for ya. I'd definitely get something in a finish that matches all the hardware. Brushed steel or nickel might match the sink nicely, for example. What do the cabinet knobs look like?

I like the one you posted but you are probably right about matching the hardware and style of my kitchen. The best way to describe my "house-style" is Pottery Barn Kids. Bright, colorful, simple. I have maple cabinets with brushed nickel knobs and my kitchen is decorated with bright beachy colored accents.
