how was your experience? I have an appointment with a trained professional tomorrow and I'm hoping they can solve my problem I have with my lower eyelids. I use concealer because I have dark circles and then use my powder compact all over my face. The problem is that I have lines under my eyes and the concealer and powder get in there and crease throughout the day.
When my mom came out to visit last summer, she wanted some new makeup, so I made her an appointment at Bobbi. I thought she would like their products, but she hadn't tried them before. They said they had a two product purchase requirement (I think. Might have been a monetary figure like $50-75, though). She ended up cancelling it because she didn't like being locked into products that might not work for her. You might want to check on your counter's policy if you're not sure you want the products. Just an FYI!
Tell the artist you're interested in trying the new eye brightener. From what I read about your worries, this product is lighter weight and doesn't tend to crease, you also don't have to set it with anything, the liquid consistency dries down to a powder.

I have been using Bobbi Brown makeup (almost exclusively) for the past year. You will love the makeover and the products. I'm surprised that Cricket's mom had that experience, because I've not had anyone tell me that there was a $ or product # requirement for a makeover (maybe it was the particular store???). They tend to use whatever product is "new", but they will tell you if it's not working for you.
When you're done, they will give you a drawing of a face with the products applied and listed, so that you know how to do it and can come back if you don't want to buy everything at one time. They have plenty of samples, and if not already prepackaged, they will make one on the spot.
I recommend the Cream eyeshadow for the eyelid concealer (I use bone for my fair skin). I had a problem with the lid creasing too, and the Bobbi Brown people said the concealer has a smidge of oil in it. I haven't had the problem since switching to the cream eyeshadow for the lids.
They also have a pink-y tone corrector to apply before the concealer. That works well for under eye circles.
I highly recommend the brushes. They have a set for about $150--steep, I know, but you will have them for a lifetime if taken care of properly.
This is what I bought: I love this! I actually don't have to put on eye cream and instead just use this and it helps with my dark circles and it dosen't crease!!!!
this is to put over the Eye Brightner .... I really like it too. But will only use it when I need extra coverage on my dark circles. Oh my gosh! I love this stuff! I've never worn foundation, just compact powder. But with this on, my skin looks great and natural. I feel like I have nothing on but my skin looks good. Now that I wear this I haven't had to use my compact.
This blemish cover stick is great too. works great and you can't tell where I used it when I pat it in.
I loved everything they used on me. From their skin care products to the eyeshadow they used on me. I left feeling like a refreshed looking me! I've had make-overs in the past and I felt I had too much make-up on.
I still plan on going back to buy some eyeshadows and skin care products
