Mine is that I order something and either decide I don't like it or it doesn't fit and I send it back. In the process I lose shipping. I have probably lost $75 in shipping so far this spring season. It really bothers me. I have been diagnosed with moderate OCD so I think that has something to do with it. I think I am going to try the waiting game. If I think I want something, I will sleep on it for a couple of days. I did try that awhile back and the next morning I was so happy I had not ordered the items the night before. I don't have a spending problem --no cc debt--but I just buy and return. UGH!!!
Also, I buy too many work clothes and not enough nice casual clothes. I don't even have a nice pair of sneakers--just some old beat up Payless sneakers and a relatively new, but UGLY pair of Nikes (long story on that one).
Also, I buy clothing too early in the season because I think I just have to have it. I should wait for the sales.

Some people collect stamps and coins--I collect shoes.
I spend too much money on clothes that aren't appropriate for my job. Only about 30 - 40% of my clothes are okay for work, and a lot of them are things I've owned for years. This means that I wear the same things to work a lot. Plus, I have so many "going out" clothes that I don't get enough use of those items.
Not wearing enough of the clothes in my closet. Even though I have SO much stuff, I tend to wear only a small percentage on a regular basis, like Alliegurl. One of my new year's resolutions was to try to change that a bit and I think that I have started to succeed in trying new outfits out, wearing more different things, etc.
My other problem is that I don't accessorize enough.
Not being creative enough with my wardrobe. I feel like when I really sit down and think - I can come up with cool combinations, but otherwise, I get lazy and end up buying new clothing when I should be figuring out new ways to wear the old clothing!
*Buying too many similar items. I'm trying to be better about this, but I find I'm always drawn to the same type of pants, heels, etc.
*Wearing too much of the same colors in winter (black, grey, ivory, and plum). In summer I experiment with my wardrobe palette all the time, but I get the winter blahs and most of the colors out then don't flatter me, so I just fall into this neutral rut.
Like Bloomie, buying online and returning is a big one for me, but it's partly because I hate fighting crowds trying to shop on the weekends.
Getting into a rut because I'm feeling too fat for some stuff in my closet.
Cropped pants.
Wearing too much black and/or white.
Ignoring my hair, or wearing it up too much.
Spilling on myself (this becomes a fashion issue when I stain my shirts and have to replace them.)
Not wearing some of my better clothes for long stretches because I don't think it's worth it.
Buying crap I don't need instead of stuff I do. At least I'm out of the habit of buying things I don't really love just because they're "practical" or high quality and greatly discounted.
Being matchy-matchy instead of creative - like I have these tri-color braided flip-flops with green and orange and tan, so I always want to wear something green, orange or tan with them.
I feel like I am always tring to find the perfect bag, that will go with everything, the perfect jeans, earrings, etc..instead of buying outfits. So I always seem to have a uniform. Also, I used to wear such great funky jewelry, and now I wear the same bronze bangles all the time :(

I buy a lot of accessories, but then don't take the time to put them on before work in the morning. If I woke up 15 minutes earlier, it would fix the problem.
Also, I find myself being to matchy-matchy, and I have to remind myself not too. I've gotten worlds better the past 4 months.
being lazy. it doesn't matter what i wear to work so i just try to be as comfortable as possible. feeling like i've gained some weight but need to lose it- so i haven't bought pants in a lonnng time. i need these more than anything! i have only 3-4 pairs of jeans and i wear them all constantly. not wearing or liking 95% of what i own. i need to sell on ebay, donate, etc- but again, lazy. buying amazing clothes (good) that aren't the best way to spend my money (bad). ex: i need a couple of versatile jackets/cardigans that have big enough sleeve openings that i can throw them over a lot of things (not necessarily batwing, but something a little more on the generous side than a fitted sleeve). i have wanted a pair of nice ballet flats for forever. I need jeans and i have only one pair of heels (!! one pair !!) that i can wear w/a lot of my wardrobe. YET i somehow manage to buy t-shirts, tank tops, and other things that i wear a lot, yet i don't need nearly as much as above items.
When I find something I like, I buy it in a few colors and then usually only wear my favorite color. I have been trying to be good and buy only one and if I absolutely love it when I get home then I will go back and get another color and hope it is on sale! I usually lose interest by then though! I got a pair of Easy Spirit Rikki's in black and wanted to get the orange too, I didn't then, but I still want them now, so I think I am going to get them. I have waited long enough!!
Oh, forgot my worst one: buying clothes that don't really fit with my lifestyle, and therefore, either don't get worn, or get worn and "toned down" (like wearing a shirt over a dress to make it look like a skirt), or get worn and I feel weird and overdressed all night.
