What's the worst habit you have when it comes to shopping or style?
Mine would have to be my habit of buying things in multiples. I know it can be a good thing to have a great fitting tee in 4 colors, but I tend to do this with a lot of other things, usually because I just can't make up my mind about which color to pick. It's not good!
Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
I'm currently in a fashion rut. I go to class every day in the same style Joe's jeans, a tee or polo, and flip flops. It's my current uniform... boring but easy. I used to put together cute outfits but now I'm so sick of law school and ready to be out that I don't feel like putting any effort in my daily look.
I must have some kind of fear of patterns, because it's so hard to remember to pick up fun pieces. My closet is stocked with solid basics, and it's getting boring.

Not caring what I look like when it's cold or early in the morning. For morning classes I seriously throw on jeans and a hoodie every day. I don't want to think about outfits in the morning, especially since I have to get dressed in the dark since my roomie is still sleeping.

If I find something I love, I will wear it until I get sick of it and never again....at least not for a looooong time, by which time i have either gotten sick of it or its out of style.

Buying too much work clothes and not enough going out clothes. When I do buy going out clothes, they dont fit my "going out" lifestyle!
Wearing colors and prints that are unflattering. Buying stuff thats affordable then falls apart right away...although I've gotten much, much better about that one.
-I am bad at accessorizing. I don't like to mess with a lot of bold jewelry, scarves, etc., but I am sure I'd dress a lot better if I did.
-I end up buying similar things without realizing it. I'll be out, see something, and then when I get home, I realize I have something similar already. At least I know what I like!
-not putting a lot of effort into what I wear on weekends.

Ditto. I struggled with this all winter. I'm excited that it's finally getting warmer. It's so much easier to look good in warmer months, IMO.
Just generally not caring at all. I've been better recently, but I feel like it's such an effort. It's a combination of a lot of things, but mainly, I've just been sick and I'm not really getting any better, so clothes just don't really matter at the moment. I'd rather just throw on jeans and a comfy shirt and flats than struggle around in heels all day b/c I feel so crappy.
And it doesn't help matters that McStubborn's style (if we want to go so far as to call it that) is waaaaaaay casual. It's not that he doesn't have taste (he actually does, but he thinks he doesn't), he just doesn't like to dress up at all, so that's kind of filtering to my style, too, since most of the time we're just chilling at home (back to that, I've been sick thing).
I layer two basic items (hooded tee & wifebeater, for example) pair with jeans and flip flops/Converse and call it a day. I think I wore that combo 4 out of the 6 times I left my apartment last week.
It's almost as bad as my 2003-2004 Juicy hoodie/Hanes white beater/designer denim rut.
I also buy really expensive stuff that I end up wearing only a couple of times because I am frightened that I look cheap when I buy stuff from places like F21 and ON. So I generally don't buy stuff from either place.

I'm with you on these 2. I can't accessorize for anything and I live in jeans when I'm not at work. Luckily the summer is coming which means shorts and capris
