Updating a entry way ...
Permalink Closed

I really want to update my entry way. Its rather simple at the moment. Wall color is a tan, white mouldings and baseboard and cherry wood floor.

I was thinking of making this an entry way bench, but I want to do some kind of a picture wall or unique way to fill up the wall space. Any ideas??

Entry way choices of furntire -

or instead do this -

with a side table of some kind?

Ideas ???

I vote for #1 because I am obsessed with black & white damask. What kind of space is it? circular? rectangular?

Crate and Barrel did something similar in one of their catalogs recently. I've been in love with one of the pieces in the pic, so I recognize practically everything that would go in that pseudo-room.

Check out the room view and you'll see it. Basically it has a hanging chandelier acting as a reading light and these amazing mirrors as wall decor. If you do this, please, please take pictures. I'm in love with this room!

Like blubirde said, a bunch of beautiful mirrors would look amazing grouped together on the wall. I'm sure you could fairly easily find pretty and unique vintage mirrors.
