Bathroom Remodel Finally Finished!!!

Well, a year and a half after we discovered the leak that started it all, we finally are done with our bathroom.  We have a few tiny detail-y things left, but it's essentially done.  I didn't use Shutterfly, so I can't copy and paste pics here, but here's my online photo gallery:

Congrats on the new bathroom you and hubby did a great job. I love the pic of the naked fat lady. I think its great you put the sink fixtures  in yourself.

Your new bathroom looks amazing!! I can't believe how ugly it was before. I definitely know why you wanted to redo it. I love the design that you put into the tile in the shower.

Well, I personally liked the before bathroom better. The gold was just so glamorous!

The new bathroom looks great! Did you see the shower design in a mag somewhere or did you come up with that on your own? It looks fantastic and perfectly coordinated with the shower curtain.

Thanks ladies!  Yeah, looking back on the whole project now, I cannot believe we did the whole thing ourselves.  It was a lot of work and it took friggin' forever.  But it turned out exactly how we wanted and I think all said and done, it was less than $1,500.  Not too shabby! 

As far as the tile design goes, I can't remember if I saw it anywhere in particular.  I just saw the river rocks at Home Depot and knew we had to use them.  We were originally thinking of using them as a border, but when I thought of the square idea I really liked it, so we ended up doing that (a lot more work in the end, but worth it, I think).

When I saw the before picture I thought it was your finished remodel and all I could think of was eeww...she's got... funky taste!  I was a bit relieved when I saw the real after pictures.  Looks good!
