BSG... what the hell is going on?

I can't wait for next week's episode, even though the last few episodes have been really weird. I really don't get the weird defense lawyer, and I'd like to know what's going on with the music that only a couple of people on board can hear. Looks like the president is going to have to get some more blood from Hera (but why hasn't she done that already)??

My theory about the music:
Everyone who can hear the music is a Cylon. (I.e. Tigh, Anders, and Tori.) I think it's some kind of Cylon transmission. I'm starting to think that the role of the last five Cylons is to protect humanity. If they whole point of the story is that everything has already happened before and will happen again, then it makes sense that there needs to be someone to help save humanity, to make sure that some of them survive to start over again. Tigh and Anders were the heads of the resistance in New Caprica.

The one hole in my theory is that Tigh is older, and fought in the first Cylon war 20something years before the show starts. So, that would mean the Cylons never really left if Tigh is one.

Re: Roslin's cancer. A few eps ago we saw how angry Helo was about Roslin faking Hera's death and giving her to another woman to raise on the planet. We haven't seen Sharon's reaction. I'd assume that Roslin would have to ask Sharon and Helo's permission to take blood from their baby. Maybe Sharon's angry enough to refuse?

About the music: maybe. I'd thought of that, but do you really think they'd reveal 3 of them all at once? For the sake of the show's longevity, it seems like they have to keep doing what they're doing, which is to only reveal one at a time.

As for Roslin, since when has she ever asked permission?

chief can hear the music too. Interesting theory & if that's true - I don't know how they will move the story forward. How can those inately good characters deal with being cylons even if their role is to protect humanity? And will any of the other characters accept them as cylons? The whole thing is weird but I believe it based on some other stuff I've read.

Apparently the original fans are really upset about the way the story line has progress into a soap opera - no cylon action. I can understand the frustration.

Is it possible for them to make Lee more unsympathetic? Man he's on my last nerve defending Baltar to spite his father under the guise of "honor". What a tool.

yeah, no kidding! that whole episode, I just kept going, "what the hell are you doing? what the hell are you DOING?"
