Can anyone give me a review? I am currently having a problem with my lashes sticking together and am willing to pay for a higher-end mascara that lengthens and separates!!
DiorShow is my HG mascara for making lashes look thick and voluminous, almost fake. However, I find that the formula is very thick and may not be what you're looking for (it clumps easily). Why don't you try MaxFactor Lash Perfection, or Lancome Fatale.
DS is probably not what you need. I think they've changed their formula since it first came out because my lashes are sticking together/clumpy. The new one - DS unlimited (smaller brush)- is a tad better but I have to be really careful with it.
I have heard the girls at sephora recommend Fresh mascara (never tried it) and around here people like She Uerma. I have the she uerma one and while it is really good at separating the lashes I can't get it as dark as I can the DS.
I didn't like Diorshow - it clumped and flaked on me. I never got what the fuss was about. I absolutely love Shu Umera - it has never clumped or flaked on me. It's my perfect mascara.
I have had really great luck with este lauder more than mascara, lash xl and illusionist. They are all really great for lengthening but not clumping at all.
For lengthening and separation I would definitely check out Shu Uemura mascaras. Precise volume is great and Shu basic is one of my all time favorites. You can build and build on top of this mascara.
Also try Chanel Inimitable (name?).
DiorShow is more for thickening. This mascara just did not work for me. The brush didn't work for me.. it felt like putting mascara on with an acorn!
I know it's low end, but I really, really like CG Lash Exact. The brush is great. Also, have you tried getting a metal eyelash comb? I have one from Sephora, and I use it all the time.
i'm a big fan of Diorshow. I have used it almost exclusively for 2 years and never have issues with it clumping or sticking my lashes together. i have had some issues with the bottle but Sephora always takes it back.
which leads me to this, why not go and talk to the sephora gals and buy what you think might work- b/c you can always take it back if you don't like it. for some reason i always feel odd about taking makeup back but they have really made me feel much more comfortable doing it...
I didn't like dior show, or estee lauder's definicils. but I'm really liking the look of two coats of maybelline full n soft. I found the reviews on make up alley and figured, hey, it's five bucks. I've gotten sooo many compliments on my lashes recently, too. It's funny.
