The new love of my life came in the mail today.....Sherry Wolf Convertible Crossbody bag in white
so pretty, but it had an indentation scratch on the front (it's lambskin) - like someone had taken the back of a pen to it making some long strokes.....Normally I wouldn't care but it's my first expensive bag....cost me $173 down from $348.

So I called up the 1-800 number on the back of my reciept.  Glad I did before sending it out (Nordstroms.com comes w/ free return shipping)  It's the last one they have in the nation.  The scratch/indentations are barely noticeable & I'd already ordered some Doc Bailey's leather white tonic to help keep it nice so I think I'll be fine, still.....

Nordie's took off an extra $15 for the indentation even though it's the last one anywhere & they could have just said "Tough luck, it's already 50% & the last one....deal w/it"  They even said they'd make a note of the scratch & if I want to return it later (like 2 months later the girl said) for another one I like better that would be fine to.  What wonderful customer service.  I'm not even sure I deserve it!  Still, when I do want to make another big ticket item purchase, I wouldn't think twice about ordering from Nordie's - they made sure I was COMPLETELY satisfied.
