Just like what Tyra said...this was a disappointing photo shoot (and episode!). I'm pretty underwhelmed right now. Here are my thoughts though:

Jael- I want to punch her for some reason. I think she's hideous but dammit that was a pretty face in that picture.

Natasha- Interestingly I wanted to punch her as well. Perhaps it was her short hair is masculine comment seeing as how I got my hair cut today though. Whatever caused my rage, I hope they cut her hair off for the makeover show.

Kathleen- Oh dear lord, she WAS slow. Miss J was right!

Whitney- Stunning. Simply beautiful.

Nobody else really stood out in my mind.

Couldn't agree w/you more relrel! Totally underwhelming so far. I know it's the first photo shoot, but normally a couple girls stand out right away. Not for me yet.

Jael seriously bugs me - she talks completely flat and monotone and it bothers me. I don't think she's pretty at all either.

When's the makeover episode? It doesn't look like next week...

They need to hurry up on and get on that makeover. That one girl's (the other plus-size model) hair was so greasy!

I thought Whitney seemed sweet, Renee is already bugging me, and I have a feeling Natasha is going to be around for awhile.

Samantha is very pretty, but she got like no airtime. Kathleen got so much that I should've guessed she'd be going home, but I didn't see it coming!

Felicia looked so pretty in her bride pic, but IRL I don't really like her look.

The make-over episode is my favorite! Someone always cries because they get their hair cut too short.

Kathleen - HOLY CRAP. Are people really that dumb?! She made me laugh.

Russion chick - I think it's funny they have a mail-order-bride on the show! She seems like a total psycho.

Renee - loose cannon about to have a nervous breakdown at any moment.

Jaslene - looks like a drag queen/transvestite to me

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that! I don't know why they're giving her another chance.

So far there aren't any girls who I can picture in the top 5.

Natasha bugs me, and so does Renee. I hate how Renee thinks she deserves this more b/c she has a kid. Dude, doesn't she realize if she wins she'll be away from her son more? I want to smack her.

Oh my gosh, I thought it was just me. She looks like a mannish Janice Dickerson to me. A little on the obnoxious side, too.
The Russian girl really drives me nuts. She's beautiful but totally annoying and the whole mail order bride thing cracks me up.

I went into totally set to root for Sarah because she's a friend of one of the guys in my second city class. But she annoyed me the most of all and I totally think she's BSing about doing a Chanel show. She's always lived in Illinois and I hate to tell her but Chanel does not do shoes in Illinois. Plus if she was booking such big shows then why is she on ANTM?

Jael I like for some reason, she's different
I really liked the girl with all the tattoos that got elimnated in the first round. She was so pretty and unique looking, sort of Dita Van Teese like.

Kathleen was hysterical especially in judging she goes "I know, right?" when they said she had no clue what she was doing!

Love the Russian Mail Order Bride, I hope they keep her around just to see what else is going to come out of her mouth!

I was very dissappointed to see how poorly the russian girl did. Solely based on looks, she looks like a high-end fashion model (I know they like to look for a different look though, not whats happening now).

Honestly I feel like the girls with the most potential and that would be the most successful never win. For example from the last season, I think Michelle (one of the twins) would be doing great. I know theres a lot of other things they want in a model...covergirl, personality, good speaker...but I also wonder if any of the successful models right now have any of that.

I dont know, I guess I just feel it would be so hard to find someone that has a covergirl look but also an edgy-high fashion look.

I was reading their bios online and Jael's bio said "Brand Manager" under occupation and I was like, "HOLY CRAP, She's a Brand Manager!"

Then I read more closely and realized it said "Band Manager"

I thought it was funny when the Russian girl (Natasha?) said, when describing her knowledge of English upon coming to the US, "Oh, I knew the important things... 'Hi', and 'I love you'..."

Just watched the second half of this last night when it aired again.

Sarah & Renee were both super-annoying, I thought.

I liked Jael, and I identified with her people-pleasing tendencies after winning the challenge.

Finally got around to watching this.

Jael bugs me! I do not think she's attractive at all, and her personality is so bleh.

I think Whitney's gorgeous, I hope she makes it far.

Sarah - that girl is way too full of herself!

I teeter between thinking Jaslene is mannish and thinking she's very pretty. She looked great in her photos.

The Russian girl is just plain funny.

This is the first time I've ever watched ANTM - have any of the past winners made it big?
