sore loser, much? oh, and bravo aired eddie murphy's 'inside the actor's studio' today :snark: Eddie Storms Out Afer Loss
Is Eddie Murphy a sore loser? After failing to nab the award for Best Supporting Actor to Little Miss Sunshine’s Alan Arkin, Murphy tried to brush off the loss, telling Us, "It's fine. It happens. It's OK."
But clearly it wasn't. Shortly thereafter Murphy, 45, and girlfriend Tracey Edmonds left the show in a huff and didn’t return. Thanks to the early exit, the actor didn’t see any of his Dreamgirls castmates perform and missed out on costar Jennifer Hudson’s win for Best Supporting Actress.

eddie the comedian was loud and annoying, but eddie murphy, Serious Actor (TM), is such a blowhard.
since norbit was promoted/released towards the end of ballot season, i don't know how much of an impact it had on oscar voting. but does anyone else think the way he handled scary spice's pregnancy news (i.e. jackass going apeshit) cost him?
What a loser. That's quite immature to leave before the show is over. Anybody who thinks they are the only deserving person of an award needs a good reality check. Ha!
He probably spent days on his speech and cleared a space on the mantel for his oscar, I'd be pissed too.
Not that I am a huge Eddie M fan (and I did NOT like his reaction to Scary Spice's pregnancy news), but I don't trust Us's interpretation of leaving in a "huff." I think stars come late/leave early at awards shows a lot, due to the parties, etc. But if he did leave as a sore loser, shame on him.

What a sore loser! He should be grateful to even have been nominated. And he definitely should have stuck around to show support for his Dreamgirls co-stars.

Actually, I saw the story on our local news here after the awards. He's a total a$$ and left in a huff - it's true. By the way, he totally creeps me out - he looks like a weasel.
wow this sucks. I'm really disappointed that he acted this way. I'm a fan of some of his movies like Nutty Professor, Dr. Dolittle (that was him right?), and I even went to see his new movie out. But now i've lost a lot of respect for him! I saw it on the news today also and his rep said that he was planning on leaving no matter if he had won or not to go home early and spend it with his family. BS! you can also see Beyonce upset in the background when he didn't win. If he had won I'm sure he would have stayed to see if Hudson was going to win and to also see her and Beyonce perform.
