Soo...about 4 days ago I noticed my right breast hurt when I touched it in a certain spot that fealt lumpy. I gave it a few days, thinking it was my cycle or something, but it didn't go away. So I went to our Health Services place on campus and they said it didn't look or feel like a cyst so they wanted me to go to a local health center and get an ultrasound. I did, and the doctor there told me he doesnt know what it is. Its not cancer and its not a cyst. any idea?

if your doctor doesn't know what it is, he/she should refer you to someone who does - "i don't know" isn't really very helpful to you. i hope you get it sorted out x
well, they put me on antibiotics (dicloxacylin) and it isn't helping yet. If it doesnt feel better by this weekend I will drive home to the cities (my school is in a smalll suburb) and go to a breast center they have at my clinic.

Ha! For some reason this post made me laugh. Hee. I'm so mature.
I don't know what it good be either but I completely agree that "I don't know" is a totally unacceptable answer. That doctor should definitely refer you to someone.
