What's the tallest heel height you can comfortably wear? I can walk comfortably in 3 3/4 inches. Usually beyond that height, my stride doesn't look as natural. I just bought a pair of ankle boots and realized when I got home that they are 5 inches. They look great, but I feel and look a bit awkward wearing them, but I've beeen practicing at home. I'll probably wear these to parties where I'm mainly sitting, whereas I can shop in 3 3/4 stacked or wedge heels easily.
So what's the tallest heel height you're comfortable walking in?
4", although some make my feet tired after walking for long periods. And I can do a little higher with a platform. I'm trying to do more lower heels now that I'm preggo though.
I just feel like I am wearing towers if I wear anything higher and I feel like I am going to fall foward. I need to start practicing walking in 4 inches because there are some really nice ones out there.

Are we talking all day, walking around comfort? No heels have ever given me that kind of comfort, I need flats for that. For just walking a little in the office, most of my heels are 3" but I really would prefer if everything I owned were no more than 2". I just can't find enough cute ones with a low heel.

Ditto.
I wear flats if I am walking alot. If I am working all day at my store then I am on my feet and usually wear 2.5" or lower heels. For a night of going out I usually do a 3" heel. I RARELY ever wear anything higher than 3" heel.
Flats for me! I haven't bought any heels that I can remember being comfortable enough to walk around in for something like a little shopping. Probably because I haven't bought many heels because I'm afraid they will be uncomfortable and I might walk funny in them.
I prefer not to wear anything higher than 2.5 inches. I think I'm actually almost afraid of uncomfortable shoes and I never wear shoes I can't comfortably walk in, so there's really no point in buying them.

Ha Ha. My brittle ankle snaps at the sight of high heels. JK, that sounds gross. But I always do the wobble test. Rarely anything over 3 inches passes, and those are wedges. A three inch non-wedge has to have a stacked heel and that's only for wearing around the office or some place with a parking lot.
I'm so thrilled flats, kitten heels and wedges are so popular now. A few years ago, shoe shopping was so depressing.

ditto! i can't seem to balance in heels, and they come off my feet if they don't have a strap of some sort. i have 1 pair that are probably 2.5-3in that i can just about manage for an evening... if i'm not on my feet too much!
i can do 4" all day long walking/sitting/standing. the girl who does my pedicures yells at me constantly and tells me i need to wear flats more b/c she can see the damage that the heels are making to my feet.
*sigh* but i have short, stubby little legs and tall shoes are the only thing that make me feel better about them!
Lately I've been a member of the 0.5 club myself because I always feel overdressed in my usual style in Atlanta.
When I was in practice, I could be comfortable in 3.5" heels all day and 4.5" if something had a sturdy platform/wedge (I have a couple of 5"...heh heh...). I need all the help I can get. When I wear 4.5", I'm still a bit shorter than BF.
