what is your fashion weakness?

My weakness is shoes/boots.  I simply cannot help myself.  I don't overspend, but I will spend alot of what money I have on shoes and boots even if I don't have an outfit to wear with them.  I have never spent more than $99 on a pair of shoes/boots because either they don't cost that much or I wait until they go on sale or I stalk them on ebay.    It is weird, because I think nothing of dropping $90 on a pair of shoes I will wear maybe once per season, but I cringe at spending that much on a blouse.  What is everyone else's weakness?

headbands and necklaces. I have a zillion of each. I don't overspend usually, and I get most of them from cheapy places like f21, target, etc. But I definitely have more of each than any one person should.

Wrap tops and dresses.  I love, love, love the way they accentuate curves and whenever I see one I can't pass it by.

Shoes, Louboutin to be exact. I have shoes I wear maybe once a year but I can't stop buying them. They're like pieces of art to me.

Shoes are my obsession too. I feel the exact same way about them being like pieces of art. They are like structural design or sculpture to me. Although I don't have the money to own any Louboutin's yet (stupid college expenses).

Rings.  I have a nice engagement ring, but I can't imagine wearing the same ring every day.  I have tons!  A lot of them are antiques that where handed down to me, I get them as gifts all the time, and I buy them pretty frequently too.  My favorite metal is sterling silver, so fortunately my weakness doesn't usually kill my budget.

vintage shoes, slouchy basics, good quality and unique sweaters and coats, anything southwestern, deco, or minimalist

I have a few:

1.  cashmere

2.  well-made shoes (I like Jimmy Choo, but also really like Cole Haan and Kate Spade)

3.  wrap tops and dresses.

4.  printed dresses (I noticed this weekend that most of my dresses - including work dresses have some sort of print- yet I had a hard time buying printed tops until recently?)

Casual tops - sweaters, blouses, and anything with 3/4 sleeves. I keep thinking I need more tops and you can never have too many of them. And they are so much more interesting and fun to shop for, what with all the different prints and colors and styles, than boring pants and skirts that never fit right. The result is that I have tons of tops I never even get around to wearing and only a few pairs of pants...

Rachel Pally. It's a sickness, but I always get compliments when I wear her stuff so how can I stop?

Hoodies. I've given up trying to break the habit...I try to find hoodies with interesting details so I look more pulled together.

Tights. If my legs were skinnier I'd own every color under the sun and wear them all the time.

Shoes, but especially weird crazy ones that no one else will touch/wear. Case in point...$300 Eugenia Kim purple leopard peep toes & $200 (on sale!) Terry de Havilland 5" heels that I barely wear. I love my some crazy shoes!

Jeans. I think I bought 5 pairs after moving to Atlanta in October.

I'd have to say:

  • Shoes
  • Skirts
  • Dresses
  • EARRINGS
  • Jewelry

Shoes and girly tops, hands down (hey, shoes always fit, right??). I'm trying to cut back, but it's so hard! I simply cannot resist.

  • Sweater vests! I think I'm really an 80 year old man at heart.
  • Those thermal shirts with thumb holes because they're amazing in cold weather.
  • Free People everything lately, because I love the detailing and the sort of hippie layering look.

1. Shoes - ITA with the other girls. I usually have a weakness for flats or interesting sandals.
2. Handbags - If my wallet could afford it, I'd probably have a hundred (to match each purse I'd get!)
3. Lingerie/Undies - see other poll. lol... such pretty things!

Why is that? I wonder why I cant be as comfortable buying a nice top for $100 yet in the past week and a half I have bought 5 pairs of shoes!  Shoes are definetely my weakness.

I just dropped 69.00 on a pair of flats, and I definitely have enough shoes already without them.  Yet there is this blouse at anthro I am wanting (actually several) and I am hesitating.  Isn't that silly?  The blouses are all less than $100.
