So I finally bought a bed frame after being so choosy and indecisive for the past 3 years! I started liking the shabby-chic/Anthropologie style stuff and have slowly collected a few good pieces over the year.
The bed is from Fairfax market and I bargained with the guy for an extra $100 off! It's a little more beat up than I thought (didn't realize one foot was chipped til we set it up at home). I may re-do the paint when I get married and move out (then it'll be the guest bed). But all in all I am sooo happy with it and how it looks with my nightstands and armoir I got as well. They are all authentically old (hahaha) but the drawre pulls are from anthro.
a little tall for my room, but i won't be here forever, but i'll have the bed!
Nightstands were my
2nd purchase - at a yard sale of all things. We were just driving by and my ex and I both stopped and said "hey - did u see those?" and we reveresed the car to get them!)
Armoir: This was my 1st piece. Actually still has someone's old recipes and cooking tips taped inside!
** Chandelier (photo from camera phone) - bought at Rose Bowl flea market on Sunday! For a future house! lol
Updated! Came home from the rose bowl flea market with a big chandelier! Won't go in my room - will be for a house, but i'm gonna put it up at BF's place in dining room for now! It deserves a place to hang!
(sorry the photo sucks - it's from the camera phone)
i think you're directly linking to your yahoo photo account, and when your login session expires, the links are kaput. you might have better luck with shutterfly or photobucket
i love love love everything, and i the amoir so much! i wish i had the time and patience to shop flea markets. i drool more over anthro's home than clothes so your purchases are right up my alley. screw anthro prices! i'm glad you found your version.

Shopgirl - Thanks - I love Anthro Home more than the clothes (if that' possible) too!
Squishy - Thanks - the bedding is from UO & the quilt is actually Anthro
Sibeski - Thanks - The cherry blossoms are actually little lights - this was my sister's room before she moved out to college and I moved back home for now. She got them at UO and it matches my stuff so I kept it up.
